Collective Press is looking for a passionate outdoor lifestyle enthusiast and on-camera host to work with our North Bay team. We are digital media startup that owns and operates multiple publications in interest-based verticals focusing specifically on lifestyle categories (like outdoors, DIY, beauty, cooking, etc). You'll be immersed in creating the best of digital and social media content.
Responsibilities
- Work on video shoots as an outdoor expert & on-camera host
- Contribute ideas for new outdoor video content
- Be comfortable with outdoor themes and activities
- Ability to work with other members of the team to help produce videos to spec
- Help organize and execute shot lists efficiently
- Be able to script voiceovers or comfortably present ideas on-camera
Requirements
- College degree in an outdoor-based discipline or professional-level outdoor teaching experience (e.g. Eagle Scout, CPR, etc)
- Expert knowledge of outdoor activity (camping, wilderness survival, hiking, etc)
- Passion for nature and being outdoors
- Strong, interesting, and dynamic on-camera personality and appearance
- Strong storytelling/scripting abilities
- Deep content expertise and ability to generate new content ideas for outdoor vertical
- Operate well in deadline-driven environments
- Self-starter and team player with a positive, can-do attitude
- Background in teaching, a plus
